For HARBR, Dr. Dover is a writer, a researcher, a bold “signer,” and a respected leader.Dr. Dover finished his undergraduate work at UC Riverside and his medical school training at UCLA in just seven years. During this time he spent three years closely involved with Cancer Immunology Research under Dr. Bruce Devens. Dr. Dover did a Family Practice Residency at Harbor-UCLA County Hospital and was chosen Chief Resident his third year by Faculty. Dr. Dover also maintained a very close relationship with the pediatric department.  Dr. Dover has done clinical, hospital, Urgent Care and ER work over the years and is, at present, a Certified Traditional Tribal Healer (CTTH) with the Turtle Island Provider Network. Dr. Dover has served on the State and National Boards of Physicians for Social Responsibility (PSR) started by Helen Caldicott, MD.  An environmentalist, Dr. Dover has served as a State Representative for the Oregon Green Party and has been an activist regarding nuclear issues, solid waste issues in Marion County, Oregon, and fluoride issues. Additionally, Dr. Dover enjoyed spending a period of five years contributing his time and knowledge of baseball to Little Leaguers as a seasonal team coach and umpire.  He is proud to have been awarded the privilege of coaching All Star teams (11 and 12 year olds) for two of those years.

Dr. Dover recently wrote a chapter titled “Functioning as a Physician in a Regulatory Environment [Controlled by Medical Boards and the Medical Industrial Complex]” for a book published in January 2016.

We at HARBR are pleased to be able to make Dr. Dover’s chapter on our website.
